Maeve Woulfe

Maeve Woulfe (She/Her) is a transgender woman and a lifelong resident of the Rogue Valley who serves as the Executive Director of Rogue Trans, a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting and empowering the transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse community across Southern Oregon. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, Maeve brings both compassion and strategy to her work. She is deeply committed to ensuring that every individual in the community feels seen, affirmed, and supported—not just in moments of crisis, but in daily life. For Maeve, this work is not just a career, but a calling rooted in lived experience, empathy, and an unwavering belief that no one should ever have to navigate their journey alone.

As an advocate, Maeve embodies her core values of Honor, Love, Service, Humor, and Tenacity. She works tirelessly to build spaces where people feel safe to live authentically and are empowered to find and use their voices. Her work is driven by a profound sense of responsibility to her community and a passion for creating meaningful, lasting change. Maeve believes in meeting people where they are—with kindness, respect, and a genuine desire to uplift. She also understands the transformative power of joy and connection, weaving compassion and light-heartedness into her leadership to strengthen relationships and foster resilience. Her tenacity fuels her continued fight for equity, dignity, and opportunity for all transgender individuals.

Outside of her professional role, Maeve finds deep joy and grounding in her life with her partner, Alira, whose love, support, and companionship are a constant source of strength and inspiration. Their relationship is built on mutual care, understanding, and shared purpose, providing Maeve with both a sanctuary and a wellspring of motivation for her work. Together, they cultivate a life rooted in connection, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. Maeve also cherishes time with her German Shepherd, Hela, whose loyalty and spirited presence further reflect the values she holds dear. These relationships profoundly shape Maeve’s commitment to community, reinforcing her belief in the power of love, belonging, and chosen family. Maeve Woulfe remains deeply dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves—instilling hope, building community, and affirming that every person is worthy of love, belonging, and acceptance.
