Our Achievements
Something profound, to highlight that we are proud of where we’ve been but we’ve still got a long way to go.

Celebrating Our First Pride Parade in Ashland, OR (October 2024)
In October 2024, Rogue Trans Outreach had the honor of participating in our inaugural Pride Parade in Ashland, Oregon. This historic event marked a significant milestone for our organization and the local transgender community as we made our first introduction to the community at large.
Our new banner, prominently displayed, symbolized our commitment to advocacy and inclusivity, serving as a bold statement to our presence and purpose within the community. The atmosphere was electric as we marched alongside our supporters, who welcomed us with enthusiastic cheers and encouragement. This overwhelming acceptance highlighted the progress we are making toward visibility and unity for the transgender community.
The parade allowed individuals to express their authentic selves and engage with allies in a supportive environment. The turnout was remarkable, with hundreds of community members joining us in celebration, demonstrating solidarity and fostering connections. Our participation in the parade not only strengthened local ties but also reinforced our mission to advocate for transgender rights and visibility in the broader community.

Launching Our Open Clothing Closet
As part of our ongoing mission to provide essential resources for the transgender community, we are proud to announce the launch of our Open Clothing Closet – a free clothing store where members of our community can find clothing items that enable them to express themselves freely and authentically.
The Open Clothing Closet features a wide range of clothing options, including gender-affirming attire and accessories, catering to diverse identities and sizes. By providing a safe and welcoming space for individuals to find clothing that resonates with their identity, we hope to alleviate some of the challenges faced by the community in accessing appropriate garments.
The Open Clothing Closet operates twice a month on the Second Friday and the Last Saturday, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to visit and find items they love. In addition to offering resources, the clothing closet serves as a hub for connection and support. Community members can visit, browse, our selections, and engage with volunteers dedicated to fostering a welcoming atmosphere. We envision this initiative as more than just a resource; it is a step toward building a stronger, more inclusive community where everyone feels valued and seen.
We would like to take this time to thank the Teresa McCormick Center for giving us the space and opportunity to operate our clothing closet within their facilities.
