Our Volunteers

Our team of volunteers are what makes our efforts possible. Without them, Rogue Trans Outreach would not be where we are today.

Felix “Fee” M.

An alley cat and semi-reclusive artist from the East Bay of California, Felix “Fee” M. is a transmasculine resident of the Rogue Valley, having moved north to attend Southern Oregon University in 2014. There he got his Bachelor’s of Science in Emerging Media and Digital Arts, as well as his Masters of Business Administration in Marketing later on. Having prior experience in the non-profit sphere supporting outdoor youth programs, Rogue Trans Outreach allows Felix to continue to fulfill his civic duties and obligations to help his fellow transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse community with a focused scope and goal. More into the “behind the scenes” work of Rogue Trans Outreach’s mission, Fee has taken on an IT role and does his best to ensure that the website and its valuable resources are working properly and as accessible as possible. He is also a backup moderator for RTO’s social media platforms to help ensure that these spaces foster an inclusive and supportive energy for everyone.

The outside world may be harsh, but Felix doesn’t believe that has to be true for every facet of life – especially when it comes to having friends, community, and support. Acknowledging the privilege and luck that he has experienced in his own gender affirming journey, he wants to help give others the tools to make their own treks to live authentically like he is able to. Whether that is sharing his knowledge of resources, slowing down to explain different topics or answer questions, or even to just to be present to listen, Fee does his best to help others in whatever capacity he is capable of.

It may seem like Felix never stops to rest, but keeping busy is what helps him recover his bandwidth and recoup from social fatigue. Currently he is working on several comic and graphic novel projects, as well as traditional ink illustrations and digital art, to satiate his internal drive to create and tell stories. He knows how the act of storytelling helps break down barriers and fosters understanding between communities, and so wishes to use his stories, characters, and artwork to connect with others on a deeper level. Fee is also a proud lifetime learner, and enrolls in courses online and at Rogue Community College to help him develop his skills and expand his working knowledge to find other mediums to communicate with the world. When he does slow down, he can be found reading his books, playing his retro console video games, or playing DnD with his friends.
